Not necessarily.: Pump therapy may help, but it may be possible to optimize your therapy without the pump. If you are at the stage where pump is a consideration you should be seeing a physician with a lot of experience with diabetes before going on. Recommend good internist or endocrinologist or diabetes center.

It may..: Low cpeptide suggests that your body is not making enough Insulin and so providing your body with Insulin via a pump or injections may help better regulate your sugar. The pump provides better control because it provides a constant preset-levels as well as meal coverage better than injections can. Consult doc. Good luck.
