A member asked:

Can it be psychological that your in pain but really not, only feel pain when i'm thinking bout it.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mind over matter?: Your state of mind can certainly influence the way you feel/perceive pain. If pain is on mild side, you may not feel it when your mind is busy/occupied with other thing. Thus, when you are really "on-the-go" with your activities, your pain perception is suppressed and thus not feeling pain. When you are more relaxed and start thinking about your pain, u will feel it more. Consult doc. Good luck.
