A member asked:

Why does my face look swollen in the morning with face numbness? (goes away after 5 - 10 minutes)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sleeping: If you sleep on one side, fluid will collect in the lower half of your face, especially if your head is a little lower than your feet. Numbness is part of this. There are some other possibilities, but if it goes away after getting up, it's probably nothing.
