A member asked:

What could cause asymmetrical body hair growth after injury from working out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Increased blood flow: Injury healing usually causes an increase in blood flow to the injured area. This can lead to swelling in the area, as well as in the ankle, wrist, hand or foot beyond the area of injury. Increased blood flow can make the area fell warmer to the touch than the other side, and hair growth may speed up temporarily, too.
