Yes, it's possible: It is certainly possible to have positive relationships with adhd. Adhd doesn't necessarily reflect deficits in your ability to form or maintain relationships. As an adult, it may impact your ability to complete tasks, pay attention to instructions, or to pay attention to things that hold no interest for you. Absolutely: Adhd certainly can produce unique strains and stresses on relatoinships, but so can lots of other personalitty traits. It is true that, on average, adults with adhd have a tougher time with relationships (and jobs, for that matter); but finding a compatible mate also can be a boon to both, because adhd traits can be positive as well as negative.

Absolutely : Relationship problems are a big issue in add pts. But properly treated add people can have normal relationships. This requires medication, counseling, & the right attitude. Also spousal understanding is imperative. Have your treating doctor or psychologist talk to your significant other to explain add characteristics. This goes a long way to repairing communication problems.
