Do benzodiazepines have to be taken every day?

It depends: The frequency of the dosing of a benzodiazepine would depend upon the particular condition and the severity of the condition being treated. However at least in the treatment of some types of anxiety, and with benzodiazepines used to treat intermittent insomnia benzodiazepines are frequently taken on an as needed basis.

Only: Only if your dr indicated it. Otherwise is better to keep it as an as-needed med.
