It depends: Many factors go into how you heal. The more you can get up and move around the better you will feel. However, if this was a second or more c-section, then that matters. Some patients will have post-operative pain for several months, or even years, but this is rare. Generally, by your 6 weeks check up, most if not all of the pain will be resolved.
