See a doctor: Varicose veins can be common as a result of pregnancy. These superficial veins can form clots resulting in superficial thrombophlebitis. This is usually a benign condition and will resolve in 1-2 months, however it can also be assoc with something more serious such as deep venous thrombophlebitis which will require more agressive therapy to prevent progresion and pulmonary embolis.
