Yes: Flu, including the h1n1 can be spread by the oro-nasal secretions of patients at any age. Babies are problem in flu season since many are passed around for kissy kisssy time by many of the more vulnerable elders at holiday gatherings.Since they may spread the illness without showing many signs of infection i consider them stelth carriers.
