Listen to your doc : Follow post op instructions. I would also make sure your vitamin d levels are normal.

No weight!: Remain non-weightbearing for a period of about 6-8 weeks or until your surgeon says you can bear weight. Bone takes about 6-8 weeks to heal after a fusion. Good luck! listen to your doctor 100% of the time post-operatively.
