No: Sinusitis is a bacterial infection. If it was caused by a viral upper respiratory infection (cold) then that is what would be contagious.

Not likely: Sinusitis is a bacterial infection of the sinus cavity and is not typically communicable. However, good hand washing precautions should be maintained after blowing or sneezing with a sinus infection.
