Varies: Everybody heals at different rates. It depends on how bad your infection is to begin with. Mild symptoms usually go away faster than severe symptoms. Also, it depends on how susceptible the bacteria is to the antibiotic. Pyelonephritis usually requires antibiotics for 2 weeks, but you usually feel better a few days after being treated.
