Emptying & Storage: Bladder problems can be divided generally into two groups, problems with storing urine, and problems with emptying. Common storage problems include incontinence and overactive bladder. Emptying problems include obstructed urine flow, common in older men with enlarged prostates. Urinary tract infections are a very common ailment, and cause problems with emptying and storage.
