Lactose/Lactulose: Lactulose is a synthetic non-digestible sugar used in treatment of chronic constipation & hepatic encephalopathy. It is produced by isomerization of lactose. Lactose is in milk & is formed from glucose & galactose. Is formed from fructose & galactose.
