Hygiene.: Penile skin infections occur and are known as balanitis. Hygiene is important in preventing these infections. I recommend carefully cleaning the foreskin with soapy water, getting it fully dry, then replacing the foreskin back to its normal position. If you think you have an active infection, please have it evaluated.
