Can morphine have long lasting side effects?

See below : Addiction would be the first that comes to mind. Long term use of any opioid is not without risk.

Besides Addiction...: No. If used occasionally or for a short period of time, there is no long term side effects. Also, pure narcotics (without tylenol (acetaminophen) in them) dont cause organ damage short or long term.
