Contact: Contact is how you get herpes, i know of no other way. Whether it's kissing or rubbing, skin to skin contact is how the disease is transmitted. There is something called herpes gladiotorum that has ruined wrestling seasons because all of the wrestlers get it on their body typically starting from 1 person's mouth.
