Membranous tissue: A couple of potential answers here are possible. One would be a miscarriage where you are expelling pregnancy tissue. Another could be you are expelling some of your menstrual lining. Other than that it's likely best you go see your doctor and have them do a speculum examination to see what the discharge could be.

Hi : I believe your question is, "what would cause my vaginal discharge to be fishy" fishy odor of a vaginal discharge is usually due to a bacterial infection.There are several types of bacteria which can cause this problem.Please see your gynecologist for a pelvic exam.The dr may take a sample of disch and test it.Most likely, it would be treated with vaginal or oral antibiotics.Sometimes yeast too.
