A member asked:

My child is a sore loser. any suggestions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Discussing with your child the importance of participation, not just the outcome. Realization, that most players that love their sport, are disappointed when they lose, and help him learn healthier ways to deal with losses. Also, make certain that parents are modeling appropriate behavior. Some adults really over react to losses, of not only their 's child's game losses, but also of pro losses.
