Ulcer: Anyone who throws up blood should see a doctor , surgeon , or gastroenterologist to determine the cause. Although the most commen causes include peptic ulcers there could be others such as esophageal(food pipe) tears or ulcers or varices, stomach polyps or cancer, abnormal blood vessels as well.
