Yes: The hemorrhoid is clear evidence of damage. And yes, is often cause for blood in stool.Now we must discuss treatment and prevention.I suggest that the cause is a hard stool.More fiber & exercise.No bathroom breaks longer than 10 min nor shorter than 5 min.Better hydration-the colon's job is to recover fluid-you are deficient.I hope this helps.

No cure: But management of hemorrhoids is possible. Medical therapies for hemorrhoids: bowel regimen (fiber, stool softeners, juice/water probiotics, laxatives to achieve two soft bowel movements daily), salves (prep h, desitin, (zinc oxide diaper cream) anti fungal), and hygiene (shower, hair dryer area daily). If the medical therapy fails to control hemorrhoids, then ask for surgical referral. There are safe surgical procedures.
