How can i prevent hyperglycemia?

Hyperglycemia: The biggest reason for hyperglycemia in this day is obesity. I am an orthopedic surgeon, yet there is not a day that goes by that I do not see several morbidly obese patients. The majority of them are hyperglycemic and type ii diabetes. Some patients may be hyperglycemic and normal weight. For those patients they should be seeing their endocrinologist or primary care doctor.
