Can getting a breast reduction prevent me from breast feeding in the future?

Yes: Most patients who have a breast reduction are unable to breast feed. Roughly 33-45% of patients may be able to.

Yes: Breast tissue is removed, and that can affect breast feeding. Some people can breast feed afterwards.

Yes but...: Depending on the exact technique used to perform the breast reduction procedure, most patients who undergo this (highly pleasing) operation are able to breast-feed successfully. Unfortunately, there is no good way to predict exact which patients are not able to breast-feed after breast surgery.
