Absolutely!: It is the rule rather than the exception that children diagnosed with brain tumors will survive 10+ yrs, either because they are cured with treatment or they have very "benign" tumors. Adults often have a very aggressive brain cancer called gbm or have brain metastases from elsewhere in the body; their outlook is not nearly as good. Adults with other types of brain tumors do live a long time.
