Generally yes, but?: Persons with hypertension should always be careful when taking antihistamines and decongestants. This is especially true for those who are older. There are many drug to drug interactions and the direct effect of the antihistamine on the cardiovascular system can be significant. In older men with prostate issues it can really be significant. I would use caution and consult my pcp.
