Can brucellosis lead to cancer?

Not to my knowledge: Brucellosis, if not accurately diagnosed can be a slowly progressive long term granulmatous infection. Such chronic inflammatory conditions may have the potential to result in secondary malignancies, but am not aware of any specific cancer associated with this disease. It does, however, have complications which may affect nearly every organ system, including nervous system, liver, urinary tract.
