Paramedics: Emergency medical technicians take care of sick, victims of accidents, disaster victims and provide immediate care, stabilize the patient before transferring to nearby er. Paramedics are advanced emts, they are trained to read ekg, give oral and intravenous medications in addition to the other skills such as intubations, conducting cpr/ advanced acls.
