Tramadol: It is not illegal to possess any medication if it was not specifically prescribed for you then why do you have it? An illicit substance like heroin, cocaine, thc is definitely illegal to possess. Tramadol does not fall into that category.

It is not an: illicit substance. However, it should be prescribed for the user. It will be classified as a Schedule IV substance in the US effective on 18 August 2014.
