Alcohol effects: I agree with my colleague dr. Ali about possible alcohol intolerance. In addition, alcohol is a very dis-inhibiting drug. For some, the first drinks may reduce social anxiety -- allowing easier, and more fun interactions. With more and more drinks, the response can change to irritability because of poor frustration tolerance -- and our usual social decorum (run by our brain cortex) is asleep.
