Maybe: You could have pain for the first couple of weeks or so. After that it is not normal to have pain other than a mild discomfort. See your surgeon so that they can rule out an infection, adhesions etc.

Depends: If the surgery was within the last 3 to 4 weeks, you could still be having pain from the surgery. Your pain should be getting better with time. If it is getting worse you should see your doctor.
