A member asked:

If you die from a contagious disease will you necessarily be cremated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not in most cases: I suppose if you had some rare disease like e bola virus, there may be an effort to do so. Local health codes may have guidelines. Most funeral directors will follow precautions to avoid infecting their staff & regular burial is possible.
