Never heard of WD: Phentermine has some properties similar to amphetamines, but it is not an amphetamine.If you abruptly stop Phentermine most patients might be more hungry for 24-48 hrs. Then return to regular appetite.There has never been a report of physical addiction.Emotionally, regaining wt w/o the med use could cause emotional stress.I have found that with monitoring pts. They can take the med for maintenance.
