Few options: Vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty are two procedures that help stabilize the collapsed vertebral body. Kyphoplasty uses a balloon followed by a cement to try and regain some of the height that is lost in with the collapse of the vertebral body. Pain medications, chemotherapy and radiation therapy may also have a role in helping the symptoms and preventing further damage tot he spine.
