Same as natural: Bioidentical hormones are identical to the hormones naturally found in your body. This includes, estradiol, estriol, progesterone, testosterone and others. Non bioidentical hormones are not the same. Some are from animals, some are created and are not found anywhere in nature. There is not as much research regarding bioidenticals, but they are very popular and work very well for some patients.
