Benzoyl peroxide.: Back acne can often times respond to over the counter benzoyl peroxide washes. Depending on the severity, prescription topical medications can be added including antibiotic, such as Clindamycin lotion. For more severe disease states a systemic antibiotic may be necessary to help clear the acne.
