Absolutely!: Kegels can help. But many women w/ leakage or urinary incontinence do not have healthy pelvic muscles and cannot "kegel" (aka pelvic muscle exercise) properly. If you injured your shoulder muscles & had trouble with shoulder - you wouldn't think twice about seeing a physical therapist(pt). Do pme squeeze for 10, relax for 10, for up to 50 reps a day. Ideally seek script for pelvic floor pt.

Treatable condition: Two common reasons for urine leakage in women. Urge incontinence occurs when the bladder spasms pushing urine out. Medications help. Stress incontinence occurs after childbirth where the urethra support is stretched so it sags and urine leakage occurs with coughing, laughing, and exercise. Kegels may help. If not, then a sling works well: takes 10 minutes, outpatient, & recovery in few days.

50/50: 50% of patients will see about 50% improvement after 4-6 weeks maybe higher if biofeedback used.
