A member asked:

Why does hemophilia c occur primarily among individuals of jewish descent?

Ashkenazi: That is not necessarily true. Ashkenazi jewish ancestry tends to have higher carrier rates of genetic illnesses. If two people with the same carrier genetic status create a child, there is simply an increased risk of obtaining the genes to cause the disease. There are many diseases with increased rates in ashkenazi jewish population. We deal with it and keep having children!

It does not: Hemophilia is not commoner in Jews than in other people.
