what is the best way to get rid of a mole?

Surgical excision: Moles are not usually removed unless for concern that they may be worrisome for melanoma. However, they are also removed for cosmetic reasons. Given the risk of melanoma in moles, it is always prudent to have them removed surgically so that they can be evaluated under a microscope by a board certified dematopathologist. See your dermatologist for evaluation and advice.
