Yes a few options: Yes, but in the meantime consider avoidance of sun exposure with sunscreens, topical elastic gel sheeting, scar massage, and pressure therapy. If the scar continues to grow beyond 6 weeks, consider steroid injections. Also consider e use of skin bleaching agents for hyperpigmentation scars. Ultimately surgery may be necesssary.
