Yes: But don't expect scar removal. It is great for improving skin tone and softening more superficial scars, especially if repeated in sessions and your microdermabrasions are not done in a salon but in a medical. Spa where they can be performed to a deeper level with a medical grade of equipment

Acne scars: Dermabrasion is still the gold standard in treating acne scars. Other resurfacing techniques such as co2 laser are also excellent. Percutaneous collagen induction with a surgical roller is also a good option without the down time of the above procedures. If repeated once or twice after six months it gives very good results.
