No: This is referred pain. If you truly have pain of dental origin, then the pain you are experiencing in your ear is being referred to the ear. Both the anterior (front) ear canal and the teeth are both innervated by branches of the same cranial nerve. ( the fifth cranial nerve called the trigeminal nerve).

Not likely: Problems with the ear usually don't refer pain to teeth but can in unusual cases. I would see a dentist first to rule out whether or not you actually have a tooth problem.
