A member asked:

What are some ways to strengthen my 11 month old daughters legs so she will walk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Developmental point: Walking requires the interplay of balance, neurological maturity, loss of primitive reflexes and a kids desire. There is a broad range of normal (9-15m) and i can't recall any kid whose strength was a limiting factor. Play with your daughter in ways you & she enjoy & give her some space. It will happen when she's ready.
