First xolair injection - what should i expect?

Nothing much: Xolair's effects are felt after 3 months usually, so don't expect much change in your asthma and keep taking the other medications as previously prescribed. It is now necessary to monitor a person for 2 hours after the first 3 injections in the office for anaphylactic reactions, in my experience, it rarely happens. Thereafter you should wait 30 minutes after each. Be patient, it will work.

Not much for 2 weeks: Most patients do not start feeling any difference for the first 2 weeks. Some severe asthmatics didn't change for the first 6 months. Be patient
