Depends on why?: If all of the reproductive organs are present and the pituitary/ovarian connection is intact then it is possible to "jumpstart" menstrual periods. If the fallopian tubes are absent then ivf may the only choice. Consult with a gyn/fertility md for conclusive answers.

Depends: If the problem is ovarian failure, the ivf with donor eggs is the treatment. If that is not the problem, then amenorrhea does not mean ivf is needed. It just means, depending on the reason for the amenorrhea, you will need pills or shots to get you to ovulate.
