How can you make a mole less prominent?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Stephen Friedman answered

Camouflage: The easiest way to make a mole less prominent is to use a broad spectrum sunscreen regularly and to apply a camouflage cream (dermablend).

I have a mole on back 2-4 years. Not sure if it should be looked at. It is a darkish brown not black. Unsure if its changed over time because its on back and hard to see but I don't think it has. I'm outdoors for work a lot.
