Blood test usually: If you have certain symptoms, blood tests will be done which may show leukemia. These tests may not show the leukemia outright. Either way, if there is. Still concern, a bone marrow test will be done. This test will be able to determine if the symptoms are leukemia or not.

Hard to say: Fatigue, pallor weakness are common symptoms, but diagnosis is made by review of blood smear. Symptoms at onset are generally subtle and develop over long periods of time.
