Don't use at all!: The fda has reported cases of anosmia (loss of sense of smell) with the use of zicam. So i would recommend not using them at all.

Instructions: Have you read the instructions or did the product not come with any (this is a possibility). Usually Zicam is used two to three times daily during a cold.
