Heriditary Disease: A group of hereditary-genetic disease that result in muscular atrophy and weakness. They are progressive in nature. There are 4 types. Type i werdnig-hoffmann disease. Also type ii, iii , & the adult onset type iv. Treatment is supportive & physical therapy--to prevent contractures.
