A member asked:

I take oxycontin because i have rheumatoid artritis. is that ok?

Possibly: Oxycontin is a narcotic pain killer. It will not reduce the inflammation associated with your RA and is strictly palliative. Long term use does lead to addiction, so, check with your md to see if there is an ant inflammatory alternative that might work better

OxyContin not always addicting: Oxycontin doesn't always cause or lead to addiction but does cause physical dependence.
