A member asked:

Is it possible to get carpal tunnel syndrome from typing and clicking every day?

Possibly: Typing, as with other repetitive motions that cause prolonged flexing of the wrist, has been associated with development of carpal tunnel syndrome. However, evidence is not conclusive that this is the only factor and there are often other associated circumstances that lead to the development of carpal tunnel.

Unlikely: Carpal tunnel syndrome comes from pressure on the medican nerve at the wrist. There is no evidence that typing or clicking causes either.
